Meet Jen
Welcome, Clarion neighbors!
I’m proud to be seeking reelection as your Mayor of Clarion. As a seasoned business owner, lifelong community advocate, and part of a proud military family, service is at the core of everything I do. My husband serves in the Air National Guard and previously served as a Navy doctor alongside the Marines during 9/11 and served in the Iraq War.
Over the past four years, I’ve worked hard to ensure that Clarion is not just a place we live, but a place we thrive. From supporting local business, enhancing community events, and leading with transparency, I understand the dedication and value of service.
To me, being Mayor of Clarion is not a political position – it’s about people. I am more energized than ever to continue the work we’ve stated together. Clarion has given so much to my family, and I’m ready to continue giving back to our community.
My Experience
I’ve spent much of my career in customer service-related roles, and I’ve always viewed public service as an extension of that same commitment. I believe Community Counts through my following leadership initiatives:
- Lifetime member and volunteer with Girl Scouts since 2006, including 18 years as Clarion’s Service Unit Manager.
- Member of the Clarion Borough Planning Commission
- Board Member, SAFE (2020)
- Member of the Clarion Free Library Board (2022)
- Member of the Communities That Care Advisory Board (2022)
- Member of the Main Street Steering Committee for CCEDC (2022)
- Board Director for Community Action, Inc (2022)
- Member of Destination: Clarion Downtown (2019)
- Member of Pennsylvania State Mayor’s Association (2022)
- Member of the Bridge Builders 50th Anniversary Steering Committee (2025)
As someone who graduated from both high school and college right here in Clarion, returned to raise my family, and now helps run a small business– in many aspects, I truly am the Clarion Story.
My Promise to You
As Mayor of Clarion, our shared values will always come first. I will bring my experience, honesty and experience to the job every day.
Priorities
I’ve spent many years of my career in customer service-related positions, and I’ve brought those same skills–listening, problem-solving, and responsiveness–to my role as Mayor. My reelection campaign is built on continuing the process we’ve started together.
Clarion’s future depends on smart plans and people centered priorities:
- It’s about continuing to create space to listen to you.
- It’s about continuing to deliver creating solutions– like improving downtown or bringing more transparency to local decision making.
- It’s about expanding local business opportunities and building on the momentum we have created.
- It’s about strengthening Clarion as a welcoming place to live, visit, and return to. With the rise of remote work and renewed interest in small-town living, we’re positioning Clarion to thrive.
I know priorities must evolve with the needs of our community. That’s why I’m continuing my “Meet Me On Main” events where you can share your ideas, hopes, and concerns face-to-face. I’m ready to keep building Clarion together!

Meet Me on Main!
Meet Me on Main is how I stay connected with you. As part of my reelection, I will continue to meet you at a Clarion business, where you can sit-down with me for a cup of coffee or a cold beer and share your needs, priorities, opportunities, and ideas for the future of our community.
The goals of these meet-and-greets are:
- Include those from our community in the ideas generating about the future of Clarion
- Ensure the campaign platform incorporates input from the communities that will be impacted most by the ideas and plans we put forward
- Support our local businesses
- Organize our community to support Jen in her candidacy for Mayor
